@SamLamberts um if you got it from a pawn shop you got a bad sax. If you got it from a reliable store then maybe your not doing something right with the mouthpiece or reed.

whats wrong?)

i can't see the notes no offence.

if you've played an instrument, like a clarinet before, for example, its actually easy to understand the videos

@woutanh2 lol... Thank you

Yes, however- as a music educator and professional saxophonist, I feel as though mis-information should NOT be ignored. Rather, to ignore poor teaching and modeling skills would be discourteous to those learning the instrument.
My advice? Find a reputable saxophone teacher, and take lessons. Videos are not an adequate replacement for a real teacher, and poor quality videos are even less so.

@woutanh2 Of course. It is good work to put out videos to help whoever will find it helpful. If anyone doesn't find it helpful, it is only courteous to ignore the video. It takes some good effort to put up these videos

@glowsom That would imply he is doing good work.

People in the comments are retarded he never said consert c scale, he just said c scale although that normally wouldn't be spesific we know that he is just talking about the alto sax so it is correct
Thia might be useful if we could actually see what keys your fingers are pressing. Did you bother to look at the video before you posted it?
