Heterosexual marriage is being imposed on gays not the other way around. Gays arent trying to force heterosexuals to marry same-sex partners nor are they trying to force conservative churches to host gay-weddings. The only way gay marriage is imposed on heterosexuals is if gays make constitutional amendments supporting only same-sex marriage and outlawing opposite sex marriage. Prop 8 does this to gays. THAT AIN'T RIGHT!

Since they're not asking that you be forced to marry someone of the same gender, I'm not clear on exactly what you think is being imposed.

If you really want to look at imposition, Proposition 8 is a textbook case. It codifies into law what obviously has its roots in christian dogma. It's saying, "you can't do this because of my religious beliefs." If that's not imposition, tell me what is.

Knowing if a company is gay friendly doesn't affect whether I go there or not. Plus, on a side note, about the whole GLBT thing. If someone is gay and is transgendered and are still attracted to someone of the same-sex, wouldn't they then be straight and no longer part of the gay community? :)

I think it's good that they think it's important enough to put the sticker up. They're showing support for the Gay community and that can only be a positive thing. Though I don't think it would make much difference to me either. It would put a smile on my face though. :)

Anyone that sees gays as a minority is pretty intollerent in my eyes. I'm not gay but gay people don't want to impose there will they just want to have the right to mary the one they love. And this wouldn't have the least bit of effect on you. this is just because you think it's wrong. You probably think a loveless marriage between a man and a woman is better than two woman or two men who love eachother with all there heart. X peace

This amendment not only keeps gay couples from being married but also from having the protections and privileges at the state and federal level. Gays (the minority) do not have political, social, no numerical power to pose any kind threat to heterosexual marriage. Gay couples make up less than 1.4% of the California population in 1.2% of the United States population. They have little power and a lot of stigma.
