This is an audio compilation I edited about 20 years ago of Connecticut FM stations. I just added visual graphics for this video. Unless otherwise noted, these airchecks were recorded for me by Gary Mitchell, Fairfield, Connecticut in December 1981.

WUSB is not based in Connecticut. It's on Long Island on the Stony Brook University campus, though it had a strong signal that could be picked up easily across Long Island Sound.

The transmitter was moved a little further south in the early 1990's, but you should still be able to get the station up there.
