2010 - 4Frenzy Friday Night Football Frenzy Voting for Wyandotte Roosevelt vs Southgate Anderson

Go to 1:29...for the 6am stats...Walled Lake/Belleville 66,747...Southgate/Wyandotte 75,911. Voting continued to register beyond that...but, I read that 6am was the cut off time. The rest is boring, unless you know the story behind the voting!
Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:27pm est...I saw on my facebook feed a link to go and vote for the "game of the week"...I passed on the link...& several others passed on the link & got to voting...and so on...Wyandotte/Southgate was in third place w/ approx 3,000+ votes...Livonia was in second place...Walled Lake/Belleville was leading w/ 16,000+ votes...I started voting- I don't know the numbers of others that started to vote - but I do know there was a lot - on throughout the night...until approx 5am...by that time Wyandotte/Southgate was in second place...the voting continued throughout Tuesday...and at approx 2pm - we took the lead...There were numerous complaints of foul play/ cheating/ etc...NOT TRUE!!! Word spread like wildfire and several neighboring communities and alumni were on board to keep those votes coming in!!!
Both The Wyandotte Bears and Southgate Titans had undefeated seasons and deserved to be named game of the week...the winning votes got them that status and a camera crew from the Detroit News Station Channel 4. The Wyandotte Bears won the game at their home field - Wyandotte 27, Southgate 0
Congrats to both teams!!! You are the best!!! We are very proud of you all!!!
