i recommend for more fun (the ones who still have the original one) to first play lufia 2, and then lufia, thats how is the story line, you feel like if u keep playing lufia 2 xD

how do you survive that ball of rockets that converge and shoot you from all directions! What kind of armor do you have because i never survive that attack and im 20 levels higher than you!

Ok... I see that there's an alternate ending....
However, the question remains: How do you get it?

Finish the game once, and save your game after the credits. You'll get the alternate ending when you're playing Retry mode (Game Clear save file, with 1 or 2 stars next to it)

@SinReVi Well, that works out great, then. You get to see the original ending the first time, and then you have incentive to play it through on Retry mode to see the happy ending.

And in Retry mode they also show Iris' thoughts in storyline events, there are more monsters, Ancient Cave is available from the beginning of the game and upgraded to 100 floors (in normal mode you can only go to floor 30), and if you collected all 8 Dragon Eggs in your previous playthrough(s), you can fight the Eggdragon.
