October 2006 my life suddenly changed into a complete nightmare. First psychosis due medicine intoxication. Then severe depression with everyday day extreme panic attacks, which lasted each 3-7 hours a day. My OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) also exploded. I thought there was no hope for me. I could do anything anymore. Here I am back. I am so happy I did not commit suicide.

i have slowly developed psychotic depression, and it is horible infact its so bad it makes me feel physically sick, just really depressed constantly and cant think about anything its effecting my memory badly and the more i try and think past it the more anxious i get and then those thoughts race around my head causing numerous panick attacks. evrything also moves slightly and changes in shape and size and i occasionally hear little voices saying things that make no sense... your video helps :)
Yep. That's one thing that people need to appreciate, that this is actually painful to exerience, from the minute you wake up to the minute you go to sleep. The world becomes a whole different place. All I can say is, thank god for antidepressants & antipsychotics! God knows how we would have coped had we been born 80 years earlier.
Thanks for this video, I have psychotic depression since 6 month and i really hope to get through this...i will try cognition therapy, i hope it will help me...thanks again for your video...
i have depression that gets out of hand every now and then, but i have been getting delusions recently. i looked it up and i think i have psychotic depression. what should i do?
I am sorry to hear about your situation. I do not know if it is psychotic depression. The best thing you can do, is visit a good psychiatrist to make a good evaluation, because there are some many kind of depressions and delusions. Good Luck and keep hoping for improvement!!!!
Psychosis can be treated with medication! Healed is difficult for me to say, because there are different reasons that causes psychosis. Yes, as patient you need to contribute. Also important: have a good psychiatrist! Good luck:)
