while i have only a minute knowledge of stage swordplay, i do have acting experience. Perhaps the point of the video was to show off the fighting, but i found the acting needed some work. reactions to backhands, slices, stabs etc were unbelievable

I think Tarhunta's criticisms are probably very valuable - at least more so than most other YouTube comments. This is a video of two theater students doing some stage combat, for part of a class, I believe (one of them a friend of mine). If I was them I would be disappointed if my video, posted to a world audience, received nothing but "I like it" comments. I'm sure they appreciate the educated advice from someone who knows what they're talking about.

Doesn't matter, really. I wasn't complaining about the actual moves. I was noting that the blocks are unrealistic and that the beats would have benefitted from larger moulinets. In addition, distance was unrealistic for this particular camera shot.

I was noting problems with style and athleticism, not with the choreography.
