Lori McKenna opens up for Trisha Yearwood at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL on Feb. 15, 2008. Mark Erelli accompanies for her. This is part of her performance of 'Stealing Kisses'. I was in the 2nd row!!

Lori is a mother of 5 from Boston... never wrote or performed a song 'till she was 27... made an incredible little independent record that caught the attention of Faith Hill who recorded 4 of the songs for the album 'Fireflies', and even named the album after one of Lori's songs...a few of her songs also recorded by Sara Evans and Mandy Moore....then was signed to Warner Bros. Records where her 2007 album 'Unglamorous', was produced by Tim McGraw and Byron Gallimore.

Lori started recording her music in 1998. 'Unglamorous' is actually her 5th album. The other 4 were on an independent record label (Paper Wings & Halo, Pieces Of Me, Kitchen Tapes, & Bittertown). Be sure to check out her new album, UNGLAMOROUS! ;-)

@nibornna she sings it differently than Faith and I like her version as well.this woman is so talented. she is signed to StyleSonic label with Tim,but is not doing that much touring because of her kids. you like it better because you know her or you just think she is a better singer. she is very good.

Lori McKenna knock me out- @Shadows921- I was referring to that type of mountain church where they sing in unison and all come up to the same note- not sure the religion but its a fundamentalist type of thing I think I saw on a PBS special or something- thanks for the intro to Brandi Carlile- reminds of Lori and the first time I heard Melissa Etheridge- hope all these ladies have babie like Lori and continue the tradition of great female country and folk songwriters
