Windowboxes are the perfect accent to dress up windows, fences or deck and porch railings and artificial flowers are just the answer to fill them. Dana Plazyk of http://www.flowers-by-design.com shows you how to design a layered-look that is sure to impress all passers-by. • Pretty pretty pretty. I always use fresh flowers in my windowboxes on the second story of my home--we have 2. But for the past 2 years, it has been home to a family of Mourning Doves who make a nest in it. I don't like to disturb them with watering all the time and silk flowers may be the answer! I am going to try this! I hope you will be doing some more windowbox ideas in the future...maybe a spring design...hint hint

  • This video is great! I really want to create this arrangement and have a ideal place to put it but I couldn't catch the names of most of the flowers/sprays/bushes. Would you be so kind as to write them out so that know what to look for. Thank you!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful!!!I am going to try to re-create this but in a smaller version. :)
