What a lovely way to remember your beloved dog!You really capture her sweet spirit.I know how painful it is to lose a dog. I Have loved all my dogs as my family too. There more then a pet, they are fur babies!

This is my song :) I am learning to play it on the piano right now. It's so beautiful. I love it. I always think of my teacher when I hear this song. He is like a dad to me, and now he's leaving the school. "I promise you I'll come back to you one day." That line is so comforting to me. I love this song. It has been my song for quite some time now and i love it more than anything!! :D

Sorry you couldn't keep your Lab. I came here in memory of my yellow Lab I lost to cancer one week ago. I feel so lost without him. I had him since he was 7 weeks old. He died at 15. I love you, Bo. You'll always be my baby.

I am sorry about that. I love dogs and I've had many dogs before. I had so many that died and I chose not to get one anymore. I don't know it's weird, everytime I own one - they just die for no reason. I treat them like a brother/sister. I don't think I have luck when it comes to pets. =(

this is to spoonified86, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU HAD TO GIVE AWAY YOUR POOR PET THAT YOU LOVED??????!!!!!!! HAILEY DOES NOT LOOK EVIL!!!!!! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS EVIL!!!!!!!!

That dog is absolutely beautiful..... Ah! I love dogs so much...

Yes, I see that you are upset, but this is what dogs do. What I would give to have my Lab, Jack with the race track he formed around my back yard, dipping his head into a 5 gallon bucket and tossing it over the fence into the neighbors yard! Chasing planes and all the trouble he got into. Jack was with me 15 years... he was still just as rowdy as a pup. Everyone loved him. He got out one day and never came back... no, he wasn't at the pound. He was never seen again
aaww shes really lovely. this reminds me of my golden retriever. i lost him to cancer earlier this year. i am so lucky to have shared such an amazing relationship with such a remarkable soul. he's eternally missed. this is my favorite song, thankyou for posting. =]

Thanks! I'm terribly sad for your loss though :[ When I was a around 8yrs old we had to put one of our dogs (Max) asleep, and the memory of that moment still tears me up inside. I've had so many pets over the years, and Max is still the most memorable!

I'm sorry, but you must not have loved her too much, if you gave her back. When you took her home, you made a commitment to her that she will be taken care of and loved and that she will have the security of a home.
I wonder: What did she make of this "experience". Next time she'll be adopted she probably won't get too attached cause you never know when someone will give you up like you are worthless.
At least you took her back to the agency and didn't abandon her on the streets.....

My mom gave her back. I REALLY had no say. Hailey was tearing up our house and our yard, and she was awfully stubborn. She did an awful amount of damage to our house. I still liked her nonetheless, but my mom couldn't take it any more.
