It's a strange phenomenon, most music doesn't sound as good at a live performance, but the BSG soundtrack sounds awesome live. I like this even better then the album version.

well Mccreary is an American composer and he is influenced by the classical music college he came from, so it is expected he would add that hint of american Snare in their. lol but i agree

This is one of my favorite tracks from BSG. 'Get up Chief, we're just getting started...' I listen to this so loud in my car, my ears frakkin' bleed. I LOVEEEE IT!!!!!
You'll should check out some of Yanni's stuff. He has used instruments from all over the worls for many years. Good stuff from him out there

Yeah, it sort of conjurs the image of a medieval chinese battlefield with trebuchet's rolling across the hillside with infantry marching in front.
