By now you've probably already read our first drive of the 2011 Lexus LFA. It's the Lexus supercar that has finally appeared in the flesh after years of forced hibernation by one Toyota executive after another.
It's quite the impressive piece, and most of those in attendance at today's official unveiling at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show seemed impressed. Good thing, too, as the new head of Toyota, Akio Toyoda, said during the Toyota press conference that he feels sad about the fact that the company no longer makes exciting cars like the Supra. Yes, he really said he feels sad.
CRP... not strait carbon fiber... but yea i understand its body is made from lightweight materials, but the interior could be stripped and there are lots of small things that would add up to even more loss... its not hard to see a lightweight LF-A being done in very small numbers at some point in the future.....
