I *may* need to show up at MPD to collect some data from some pending MGDPA requests this week. I know what T-shirt I'll be wearing.

William Palmer, star of a previous Youtube video, is the MPD's Minnesota Government Data Practices Act officer.

The "autoresponse" email he sent at 703 PM today, December 6th (to an email I sent to him at 10:51 PM on December 5th* reads, in its entirety:


"Palmer, William
To serve you better this week I am in a business process improvement planning session in regards to the MN Data Practices Act process. My response to inquiries of all types will be delayed. I appreciate your patience."

I'm glad you do, Bill. It's been more than three weeks since my 11/15 MGDPA request to you, and I still haven't heard anything from you on it.

@andtsol permit application costs $100 plus cost for certification class. i paid $100 for the class i took (cheapest i could find) and didn't learn a thing i didn't already know. oh, and i dropped $15 on ammo for the shooting qualification.
