  • @liam101300 Hmm sorry about that I will pm you the link for you. Youtube wont let me post a link in the comments. :(

  • @liam101300 Hello there it will be nice to see your meter. As for testing the accuracy of your meter hear is a video from RODALCO2007 that may help you answer your questian. Regards Steve

  • @BoomBoxDeluxe Accuracy is better with all 3 coils energized as with one coil the meter tends to run 2 to 3 % faster as there is no magnetic flux of the other two coils.

In a 3 phase set up with only 1 phase loaded, the disc still has some magnetic flux to deal with from the other two phases potential coils.

  • Hiya. Good job with that terminal cover. :-D I LMAO'd so hard when I saw that, & it's a perfect fit, too. :-D Spot-on, how cool is that?

In regards to wiring the 3ph meter though, some direct-wired ones will work on only one set of coils energised. My Sangamo Weston S301.1 is such an instrument. I don't need to wire up the other two phases for it to run at the correct speed. In fact, I thought that if I did, it would run three times faster, but what you've just done proves otherwise. :-)

    -BBD.
