I think those reasons might have been what lead for the movie to not get a good review. People just were not ready to see Ann in a role like that and in an indi like movie. I feel like she is past that.

RGM was all about a girl trying to transition back into normal society after being addicted to drugs and spending a few years in rehab. needless to say her family doesn't really help, and she's not exactly a vision of perfection. so all hell breaks loose during the weekend of her sister's wedding.

i hope this year is great for both of us!

Rachel Getting Married was not the movie i was expecting. it was very dark, and being an indie film, it didnt cater to the traditional movie plot.

I don't go to Sprawlmart very often, but I never find anything good in their dvd discount bin. It always seems to be filled with crappy bad horrible stink fests like some pathetic Kate & Ashely tv movie or there are a couple half decent movies that are barely marked down.

It's so funny because my dad just bought that movie for my mom (because she's completely obsessed with all of those actors) and we just watched it as well. Good movie.
