Why do bad things happen to good trees? A little helpless tree as pretty as can be gets a disease and dies. Why??? Lightning strikes a perfectly good, majestic tree. How can this be? What is the explanation? Probably a good study of what causes disease and what causes lightning would go a long way to explain this. When nuts like Pat Robertson expain human tragety as God punishing behavior, it makes me sick. Study what creates hurricanes, earthquakes.... and stop the superstitious crap!!!

GREAT VIDEO

If you don't deserve it, then it's happening for a reason. See my Videos.

@bastermaboy your best not speaking folly like of course God causes suffering and brings misery dont you know the scriptures ? he brings prosperity and disaster as for the comment that braindead should only apply to those who are high thats a cop out drugs and alcohol have been used since the beginning of time even by jesus all the prophets were smoking opium christians today are so out of touch spiritually because they are too sober and self rightous only going by a book full of contradictions

@bastermaboy I agree.

@princeofexcess And what do you define as good. IF you dont define a word then its much easier to distort it and say someone isnt really good. What does good really mean for you!
-
@princeofexcess With this reasoning for you there are no good people because you deny their existence (simply do not notice good people) and when you do notice good people you distort it (well they arent really good they did something in their life that was bad its impossible that they didnt they are all sinners) If you are asking show me good people but really you would distort them if someone did. Even without evidence you would just say that they cannot be good.

Once we develop personal believes because of what we were thought or what we noticed we develop mechanisms to keep those believes even if they arent true. Either by denial, which means you simply do not notice things that are against your believes (for example atheist comments that arent rude but nice, if you believe all atheists are arrogant mean ppl) or by distortion meaning you explain the event (like this atheist is not being sincerely nice he just pretends to be to convert me)

@bastermaboy if things can happen with no reason behind it, then why does big bang have reason behind it?

@princeofexcess Is God the cause of the death of the child No!. God created humanity and the entire universe not to see innocents die. It was not his doing. It just happens. Thats life. That;s the world. Will the babies go to hell, No. God is merciful and loving. God gives them everlasting life. It is hard to think of life after death at a scientific standpoint. Its true it doesn't exist in the laws of science. But theologically it does. Science cannot exist without religion and vice versa.
God has raised Lazarus from the dead. God has restored the eyesight to the blind. God has healed the sick. God has made the lame to walk. God has healed the leper. All in the past. Today people testify about how God has healed / cured them of all manner of disease, except for pancreatic cancer, that's a 100% killer; but God has never healed the amputee. Why not? If He has / can cure as the Bible says He has / can, then why not restore the amputee limb? Cause He ain't real people. Wake UP!

@SpartanCaver
Where is your proof that God hasn't done this?

I know plenty of good people who make the world a better place through their actions, and your god surely does not qualify as good, with all the murder he has committed. And the real answer is, because there isn't an all powerful all loving god, there is just your bronze age mythology and the fictional life of a man who never existed.

You don't know ANY good people.

A child is born in a muslim world. Grows up muslim, learns morality and kindness towards his fellow man.... But he goes to hell cause he was born in the wrong country....
Gotta love that God playing with peoples lives like some gambling machine..

Nope, he goes to hell because he has to pay for his own sins.
That's the alternative to letting Jesus do it for you.
It has nothing to do with Geography.
You'll be surprised at how many Americans won't make it to heaven, either.
This is one thing that doesn't depend on location, location, location.
