Reducing rabbit numbers on a property in Eastern Victoria. The property owner chose shooting as the best form of reducing their numbers as poisons used in the past left a slow end to the rabbits.

  • That was an excellent display of shooting live quarry, every one killed as clean as a whistle, well done! It's a shame that some of these "Furry Friend Huggers" are too stupid to realise that you need to control the numbers of some animals in the name of conservation as well as for crop protection!

Mind you some of them just talk out of their back sides to cause a reaction, they must have really sad lives!!!!!!

  • Thanks @FrenchieBoy1951, I know what you're saying, it still amazes me that they will take the time to watch videos like this if it offends them so much. I guess some people aren't happy unless they are trying to force their own beliefs down the throats of others. Good hunting to you.

  • R u using pellet gun or real gun??

  • .17 HMR

  • what caliber are you using?

  • these were all taken with .17 HMR

  • Just red a book about Feral animals in Australia and some Specialists are saying that every one rabbit killed and by this they mean killed by Dingoes,Eagles and other raptors feral dogs cats and pigs and of course Humans so for 1 killed there are about 20 new born.So basically the hunting wont even put a dent in the Rabbit populations of Down Under so please all u PETA Worshipers stop bitching

  • @oxfordyes getting eaten alive by a predator would be cruel.these shots are taken by a pro and these kills are quick...nothing CRUEL about it mate.their one second gone the next...quickest way!

  • ahahah...fuck yea! love the vid mate...check out some of mine.happy shooting mate.

  • @Libertine62 well said

  • Nice shooting there mate..Myxo has nocked the bunnies on my local patch at the moment..but after the winter they will be back...thats for sure..

Cant wait to do some snipeing over some warrens with the CZ 17HMR or the CZ 22LR

    Cheers

  • Kill em all!!!

  • Oh, but how can you do that to such cute and loveable animals. Well they're cute and loveable right up to the point that there are 600,000,000 of them which are destroying Australia's ecosystems. I am an enviromentalist at heart, and an animal lover, but I say keep on blowing their heads off. They are a nuisance and a threat to Australia's environment.

  • @Krenisphia Why is a .17 HMR messy?. If you're going too use the meat, bow or gun you still got to cut up the rabbit. If you're not going to use the meat the bow is more messy because you have to remove you're arrow.
