I find it ironic, and quite amusing, that you are calling attention to someone's poor sentence structure and spelling, and all the while you are making blatant errors yourself. I disagree with the comment preceding yours as I enjoyed the performance; however, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. In addition, if you are planning to speak condescendingly, make sure you are in a position to do so.

sorry, but I just didn't feel it.....putting stress in all the wrong places....feels more self important than a reflection on life

You did an okay job...but watch Hamlet "To Be Or Not To Be" soliloquy video.
You lack emotion.

Good job man. . .although I would scrap the costume, it really distracts more than it adds, and makes it hard to take the performance seriously. I would also work on opening up your voice a bit more, and developing more of a sense of rhythm. I don't mean literally going da-DUM da-DUM, to BE or NOT etc.. . .no, but think of it like a surfer riding on top of the waves, rather than drowning in it. It would just help to keep the pace of the speech going, without losing spontaneity. Nice work.

this is horrible.

Though I am not defending the actors particular choices, I will defend the text. Hamlet is seeking revenge, not suicide. He has no reason to kill himself. As said, it is merely a show put on by Hamlet to fuel his adopted persona.

Or maybe...you need to reread it LesMis. Hamlet has no reason to kill himself and merely states this for an audience that is in reality on stage. [Exuent] pertains to the fact that Cladius and the others are merely watching as Hamlet recites his famous monologue. Cladius will later comment on Hamlets monologue and conversation with Opehilia without being told...because he was there. Hamlet says in the very beginning that he will give an antic disposition. This is an extension of that.

Sorry, but I have to agree with most of the comments here. He's trying to decide whether or not to kill himself here - you need to go back to the play, read it again and really understand what's going on here. Also, remember that in Shakespeare's day, suicide was thought of as a fast track to the Gates of Hell - you just didn't do it. People in Shakespeare's time just didn't speak like that - don't let the language get in the way too much, let it flow more.
