UPDATE!!: **I no longer have the Ninja 250. I have a supermoto. See video response for walkaround**

(Annotations on for subtitles/dialogue boxes)

My arrival from KC via motorcycle was a complete surprise to my parents, as they had no idea I had even bought a motorcycle. My extended family was all in on it, however, so I rode to my aunt and uncle's house, and we invited my mother over.

Her reaction has been filmed. My personal favorite is my 83-year-old grandma saying how badly she wanted to ride my motorcycle. LOL.

Mom wasn't terribly happy with my choice, but is happy that I'm happy. She's also glad I ride responsibly.

  • hey guys, i really wanna get a cbr150, is it a good starter bike?

  • @tyler387387 I wish we had those smaller bikes in the States. From what I've seen of the vloggers in England, it's a great little bike. You can't go wrong with Honda, either. Bulletproof engines.

  • Anyone who even looks at a Ninja 250 wants to ride it. It's that pretty.

  • @nasausaf2 It is a sweet bike. It's fun to ride, too. I had a blast on mine. Sometimes I miss it, but the supermoto does suit me better.

  • Wow. I wish my mom was that cool. She didn't speak to me for almost 2 months when I got my Ninja ZX6R. And she threatened to kick me out of the house if I didn't pay rent.

  • @01parrott Well, I hadn't lived at home since I was 18. I bet your mom was concerned for you. With the rent thing, she was probably trying to encourage a general sense of responsibility in you, since riding a bike requires and assumes a level of responsibility.

I hope you two have worked it out since. Cherish your family relationships, man. You'll miss them when they're gone.

  • @tyler387387 For Sure! I had no idea you were in Thailand. In the states though, a 600 is almost too small! lol

  • @01parrott 600cc not worth it in thailand, i don't need it. maybe when i get to canada i will see if i can get a er-6f

  • @ratkocosic89 i'm not in america, i'm in a small city in thailand, 250 is already enough for the "highways" here but i dont want to get a 250 cause of the price and its not really worth it to buy it only for 1 year, cause i leave in june 2013

  • You're a cool gal :) I cant wait for my sister to get a bike so we can go riding together :)

  • @seldian Well, I know nothing about how old you are, or your relationship with your parents, but it's very important to establish that if your mom (or dad for that matter) wants a relationship with you, that she will respect your decision and let you be your own person. My mom used to HATE it, but now she's quite cool about it because I basically didn't talk to her until she respected my decision. Obviously though, this is harder if you still live at home and are financially dependent on them.

  • @tyler387387 If you can ride maturely, and you are naturally cautious and observant, you don't have to start that small. I started on a ZX-6R, and I'm so glad I did.

  • @01parrott In about one week ill probably be going through the same silence treatment/threats.

  • Didn't do it in one day, says it all your a RIDER GIRL welcome to the fold........

  • @tyler387387 just get a 600 the 250 power is ok but u really dont want anything less then 30hp it wont b able to go on the freeway

  • @mistaseanbon i can't get 600cc, price too high (not worth it for only a year) and i think 250 is already very fast and big
