Last week, we came to a consensus on a document called the "Declaration of the Occupation of New York City." Our process is direct democracy. We are all part of this movement. We amplify each other's voices so we can hear one another. There is no hierarchy.

I don't think this is possible without the process. The only way that you keep people involved in a movement like this, is you have a process in which everyone's voice can be heard. A consensus process.

In our movement, it's really important to have our means reflect the ends we're trying to create. We want to have more representation in our government and in our economy. So, in trying to create that, every decision has been made through our process of general assemblies and through our process of working groups.

How do we end the deficit? End the Wars and Tax the Rich! How do we end the deficit? End the Wars and Tax the Rich! How do we end the deficit? End the Wars and Tax the Rich!

As if you do know ANYTHING about Marx. Just talk about "early Marx" and Star Trek in your Conventions.

    Smartassing,ignorant -.-

  • @ImMichaelTaylor Funny.

  • @shurednichso Read Marx's early writings...

  • @shurednichso i agree you with you but also read the constitution article 4 section 4 and no iam not just listening to my history teacher or the media. read the constitution

  • @kskorcz

No ,thats not what im saying and if you would forget all the bullox you got teached by the media and your history teacher, then you would see, that i ment "reign of the people" means real democracy and not a corrupt parlamentary system.

  • @shurednichso so what your saying is that if the congress and senate got a majority vote to do away with the bill of rights it would be okay cause we are a democracy. no what the republic means is that no matter what the majority votes for they still can not take away the rights that are founding fathers put down for all men no matter what. we need these rights to live free with out them we will be slaves. yes there is a democratic aspect to the republic but only so far.

  • @kskorcz

Uch, dude. If you just would stop to repeat this halftruths . That would please me alot.

So first: Republic = Res Publica, which is latin and means something like property of the people. (Democracy ; greekfor:Reign of the people)

A real Republic is ALLWAYS a democracy. Without that it is simply not.

And who said, that it is enough in a democracy to have 51% to dismiss the other 49's opinion?? Are we on the stock-market? What they teached you is utter crap, mate.

  • @shurednichso america is not a democracy all a democracy is a state where 51% of the people can take away the rights of 49% america is a republic where we have ceartin rights which no gov or person can take away from any american no matter what these are the bill of rights. and its time we take back are republic

  • @Cienstin

    Said who? You?

I dont think so. I want to live in a democracy, where people can decide what they do in their lifes and have equal chances to do so.

The rest is just bla bla of you.

  • holy shit a CIA mind control experiment....:)
