I know. It's very sad but it can't be helped. I definitely want to go but it would be foolish to go now considering the advice I have been given.
Still, I'm heaps looking forward to catching up with my friends in New Zealand! Hooray!

BTW, aren't I having an EXCELLENT hair day today? =D
ok so have been totally youtube/twitter/blog absent for 2010 thus far and am only now catching up.
This sucks Rohan - i know you were really looking forward to your trip and i know what it is like to have travel plans ruined due to uncontrollable events.
Nevertheless - something awesome will come up! whether it be another destination or something back home. either way - you are awesome and something awesome is probably already on its way to you.

I can't help but feel badly! I'm sure things will improve. Do you have anything in Australia like the Peace Corps? Although I'm sure you would prefer to go to Peru more than anywhere else. :(
btw your hair looks just fine.

I'm sorry to hear about your trip! And your car! But things will work out in the end :)
And on the off-chance you do come to America, there's this lovely city in Indiana called Bloomington, which houses a beautiful university, and may have some people who would love to meet you... *ahem*
Then again, it's kind of far away from California, which is where I assume you're probably going. Just a thought :)

Sorry to hear your bad news, Rohan. I know you've been looking forward to this trip for ages. The people of Peru are missing out. Looking forward to seeing you on the 27th. Another excuse to make your stay with us totally worthwhile and funtastic! :-)

That's rubbish, but I'm sure there's a good reason why you'll end up going later. Timing can change everything. I'm sure there are many people who would rather you didn't go and stayed safe than went and were at huge risk! Also it sucks about your car.
I'll be praying for your Peru trip and enjoy New Zealand.

So if you go later, will you still be able to stay the same amount of time? If it really does end up just being a postponement, it won't be so bad if you still get to spend all the time you wanted to there.
A couple of years ago, I was planning to go to Chile for the second time, but then the guy I would have been working and staying with went to Canada to get a Ph.D. I dunno when he's going back to Chile, if ever.
