the word express says it all - you thought they would have put it on the timetable so it doesn't get stuck at the signals...

They arent rare, but it is a a slow speed. Just go to victoria and wait on platform 14 and one will be in that area. or a 442. wait bout 1hour and one will come.

This happened again last week due to a major signal failure at Wandsworth Common. It also happened last month when there was a fire on the line near Grosvenor Bridge which blocked the lines at BAK.

Now thats incredibly rare. Your probably right in saying its going to Selhurst. I dont see any other reason why it should be there unless there is one hell of a diversion!
