Macross: Do You Remember Love? - Opening Battle

The first major sortie in the Macross movie, plus a bit of the intro. Edited for time and Minmay.

Interesting little bit of trivia here, DYRL is supposed to be a 'historical drama' from within the macross universe. It's sort of like 'Pearl Harbour' and it's a fictional universe's attempt to depict an event that was real in that universe.

Also note, that in the movie version, the Macross has RMD1 and RMD2 attatched to its sides as was intended.

If that theory is true, why roboturd has so many plot holes and nonsenses (ship being destroyed off screen when the animaton does not support that fact, flowers powering mechas,) ? I grew up watching Robotech, and I still enjoy it. I've never seen this movie until today, and I love it :). Cool plot twist/new uniforms
