HilaryN overcame 13 years of "Repetitive Strain Injuries" by using the TMS approach. For years, she wasn't able to use a computer without using voice recognition, but now she uses a computer without limitation and considers herself completely healed.

  • Hi Hilary - thank you very much for sharing your story so honestly. I am nineteen, and have serious RSI for about seven months now. It is to the level that daily tasks like cooking and opening doors cause pain. While I do believe that I have structural problems with my body, reading the stories of people like yourself, and also John Sarno, has really encouraged me and taught me about the psychological side of pain. Thank you for sharing your story, stories are really important with RSI :-)

  • Sarno saved my life. My wrists had been hurting so bad a few months ago that I had to wear braces all the time when I was typing and sometimes when I wasn't. I started reading his book and I knew there was no way I could deny what he was saying. Within days my 'carpal tunnel' was cured. I still have pain but I know that it will go away with time and practice. I bought mindbody rx, healing back pain and the divided mind and I plan to read and study them all.

  • 2) I realized whenever I'd become excited and hopeful that I had found the cure, the pain would almost completely go away and then when I felt just a tiny bit of a sting Id become very worried and the pain would come on full force. 3) The pain is non existent when I am very preoccupied. I have ordered his book, and cant wait to read it. Just telling myself the pain is all in my head the last day or so has been helpful these last couple days.

  • I watched your video and it has given me some hope. I have had RSI for about a year. It came out of nowhere, and now that I look back on it I think it probably got worse and worse as I worried about it more and more. I really became interested in his book a few days ago when I was reading about it and realized 1) most of the time my pain didnt come immediately after doing a great deal of hand use but instead randomly, sometimes up to a few days later.
