1. it's not a keytar, it's an electronic auto harp
2. you are supposed to hold it like an autoharp, but then again, What's important is to have fun with it anyways... So rock on dude!

So it will send the notes (which are in whatever chosen chord there is) that you strum on the strumplate (as on/off, no velocity etc)?
PS Thanks for the quick reply :)

I notice yor qchord has a guitar strap attached-but to what? Mine doesn't have any where to strap it on. Also what voice setting are you playing on?

@Suelorie yeah those strap pins are kind of odd, but they came stock with mine., I'm using a flute preset from the library, which you can access by pressing some buttons, but I don't have the Qchord anymore to tell you how it's done

hay can you plug the Q in an amp?

Yes you can, it has a 1/4 inch audio out jack

Mine was very inexpensive, but I have seen them go for $150 dlls and upwards on eBay.

Does the strum plate work with MIDI? ie: Can you control external instruments with the strum plate or are you just limited to the keys
blazetblaze 3 years ago
It does work with MIDI, but it will just send a note on/note off.
