I plan to purchase the SR9C, the SR9 and SR40. I do not normally carry a striker fired weapon as a EDC but I have the SR40c with no issues. The firing pin indicator was moving loosly because the weapons firing pin must be removed prior to presenting any weapon to a SHOT Show IMHO. If you have an issue with ANY firearm SEND it back to the manufactor, it is just that simple. I also plan to purchased the SR22 when it becomes available and funds allow.

@4Tcal over 1800 rounds thru my SR9 and i never had a problem yet

It did look as if they was trying to hide the pin on into to video. But it could have been because the firing pin was removed. As some have said . ? Good shot thou.

Thanks for the video. I was about to get 1 but something told me to hold off. I wish the TV shows that showcase guns would have a fair and impartial review on guns but they turn out to be nothing more than commercials for gun companies. I also saw the nutnfancy clip where he had to send the SR40 back for malfunctions and Ruger's explanation was a "barrel malfunction".

Try a Sig 2022 or something similar. They have polymer grips like a Glock. They give a bang for the buck. I've had one for several years and never had a misfire or mis feed. the new ones have a lower rail for lights or lasers. Very easy to field strip,clean......

I am a fan of Ruger revolvers.Have owned many, even when they weren't popular.Their semi-autos are a different story from my experience.I've had 22's and 9mm's and have had loading problems with them all. not saying they can't be fixed,i hate having to send them to the factory and waiting months before i can shoot them.
I'm not a big Glock fan but would go that route first. My shooting partner is a Glock nut.I've shot a few and they shoot good.I prefer a Sig for reliability.

Have had numerous failures to feed with my gen 4 Glock. Don't trust it and going to get rid of it. Had a gen 2 and gen 3 and only time it jammed was when I limp wristed it or it was VERY dirty. I heard the S&W M&P is excellent. Might give that a try.
To get a gun in the door at SHOT you need to take out the firing pin. I assume its something like an AR bolt and won't go back together properly without the firing pin. This video seems to just be a diss on Ruger.

are you an idiot dodo? any weapon at the shot show needs to have the firing mechanism removed. the rod coming out the back is just a plastic filler to keep there from being a big hole in the back. duh
