Dissidia 012 Duodecim - Initial Prishe Gameplay Test

Opponent Info: Tifa Lv 105, Random AI, Maximum Difficulty (9/9)

I'm still waiting for the US Duodecim release, but I'm more than ready to pick up Prishe as one of my mains. Being a Jecht player, I can't help but fall in love with her and her playstyle.

So after being given a 100% save to experiment on, I tried her various brave attacks (it was a very long list) and I found the set where I'm comfortable at. This might still change with the US version once I finally purchase it.

Brave attacks-wise, she has a plethora of skills to choose from, and how you end each combo is up to you. Some certain combinations induce skill chains, and I don't know all of them. I don't know their effects either, so my combinations might change. Base brave attacks will probably my final. I haven't seen the use of her Holy attack yet as it's too fast, and has average tracking. Banish was worse. As Prishe you need to be close to your opponent like Jecht.

I would still like to see how she plays in a PVP setting. Her brave attacks are brutal, specially when she is on EX mode. However, her HP attacks will be hard to hit by themselves. They punish bad dodges very well though, and it's easy to connect them with a good assist. She can introduce mind games with chargeable attacks which are effective because they also come out fast without charging. She also has even better range than Jecht as I have observed, albeit equipping all those attacks will eat up CP like candy.

Anyway, expect more videos from me for the next month. My next video would probably be the US version.

so, tifa's and prishe's gameplay are similar to jecht?

Not exactly. Tifa plays with feints and keeping opponent guessing if Tifa is going to feint or not. Prishe is closer to Jecht on terms of pressuring the opponent, but Jecht has Jecht Block which makes him better in the defense department.

I can't say much yet until I fully play Prishe in PVP. So far, keeping her in the aggressive is the best way to play her. Mix charged and quick attacks, and her unblockable Backhand Blow keep opponents guessing.

@christenlanger ok understood! thanks...i really suck using jecht :(...i need to practice with him...tifa and prishe are hard to use?...i mean...i find jecht hard to use...that means that i will find them hard too?

If Jecht being hard to use you meant using his combos, then you shouldn't have problems with Prishe. She's a very straightforward brawler but you do need to know when and what attack to use, and learning how to confuse your opponents (assuming you're going to do it in PVP). Tifa is a bit harder to use than Prishe since she has options to feint. I've yet to test it in PVP.

@cambilpiz Tifa is super duper fun if you play her defensively. You should go check out the Got Feints? vid by TheNeroDB. he is probably one of the best Tifa players out there.

@alexmoore672 well, i really like Tifa, i find Jecht hard to use and Prushe is good but i don't like too much her hp attacks...Tifa is fun to use and i think is easier to play with! her faints are mor easy to input than jecht combos! and i like her blizzaga-meteor strike combo :D

@cambilpiz Tifa is the most defensive of them all. Despite what people say about her mind games and everything like that, the most effective and safe way to play her is by using all her feints as dodges and counters. Ultimately, Tifa, Prishe, and Jecht are defensive punishers.

@christenlanger yes! i mean for the combos...by the way, thank you for the info!...so Prishe is a "combo maker" like jecht but easier?...she need to imput a certain attack in a certain time or not? and there is a precise timing to imput tifa's feint just like the precise timing to imput jecht combo? work the same way?
