If I tried to render that with my computer, it would literally grow an arm and slap me in the face.

@slamscape its not the light source's fault causing a black image. Try to play around with the emitter override parameters in the Krakatoa UI. Good luck and welcome to max :P

Anyone have tutorials similar to the hurricane look of this, it's awesome!

i recently moved from cinema 4d into Max. And it is a hell of a change. I been having issues getting around the interface. And being able to do things like make a bump texture the way I could in c4d. And also issues with Fumefx on getting it to emit fire only from the bright spots of a material, dispite what a few tutorials instructed.
And when I try krakatoa i just get a black image no matter what my light settings are. -_-

@slamscape You have no lights in your scene.

That looks really cool, but it doesn't seem like 24 million particles.
Either way, my computer took a dump with RealFlow for just trying 20,000 particles.... Oh well.

@staphinfection Well, realflow particles are far more sophisticated because they have particle interaction with each other so it isn't really the same thing, these particles are just points in space that follow a fumefx simulation data.
