Megasquirt launch and flatshift E30 318i

the 318 at an autocross, demoing launch control and flatshift. 3500rpm launch with 4700 rpm flatshift, retarded to 5deg ATDC. You can also hear the rev limiter after the crossover.

Tarheel Sports Car Club hosting at NCCAR. A little damp, and the track got dirtier as the day went on.

Motor is stock. car is in FSP. Running MS2E on v3 board with wastedspark controlling ford EDIS coil.

@gtivw :) Eu nao sei como escreve muito bom, mais e MS2extra com a faisca do Ford EDIS, controllado com Megasquirt. Eu tem uma interropitor na embreagem para esse Launch Control e FlatShift(nao leve a pe). O motor e a BMW 1.8L, tudo normal.

@stevemoore12 it helped with the drivability range, and a bit of performance. stock it ran 18.3 in the 1/4 at 72mph. After MS and some lightening (it now weighs 2300lbs with 180lbs of me in the car, and 3/4 tank of gas) mods I was able to pull a 16.88@80.5mph. The trap is what is really impressive, and that was on a shitty pig rich street tune. It pulls harder, and more linearly.

Do you know how much more performance you get with Megasquirt? I'm looking to put it on my 318i and I'm hoping that it can make a pretty good difference.
