You guys are fucked up this guy should be rewarded for actually finding a hole in security.
He deserves a medal for actually getting through security even the simple minded criminals could have gotten through and made a hole mess of problems. But this guy simply wanted to kiss his girl friend good bye.
Every airport has a hole in security they could have a clean record with no criminal back ground and still cause harm.

a misdemeanor? $500 fine? that's like a slap on the wrist. He delayed hundreds of flights across the world and wasted thousands of hours of people's time and probably hundreds of thousands of dollars of cost. This guy speaks and understands enough English, only a misdemeanor? this is a joke. he should go to jail for years and made example of how this should never never happen again, or get punished badly! That's how the criminal justice works - trust everyone, until they do bad things!
