Part 1: Here's a relatively short tutorial on using the new Accelerometer code in Actionscript 3 to create a simple tilt game where a ball potentially falls into a hole. This could be ported out to either the iPhone or Android, or any touch enabled device that Flash Player 10.1 runs on. Check out the full course at

  • Yeah Device Central is greyed out when the iPhone is targeted. Just one of those weird things.

  • @StevonDuddly i have asked the same question but found the answer by my self. u need to create the file uson just a normal actionscript 3.0 file rather thatn the iphone os one. i think u cant copy the files accross again when y've tested in device central

  • omg omg, i cant put it into device central, what do i do? please someone help. when i go to test device central is greyed out and then if i go on devise central then i cant open it that way either. HELP ME!

  • also i have flash cs5 and photoshop cs4 installed, and in both directories i have device central (cs4-cs5) but when i try to test movie in device central it is greyed out and i cant select it, but i can run device central from the main directorie, any idea as to why i cant select it?
