  • @SonicSurf3r ...while you wern't pushing it

  • Dig The New Breed & What They Say 1979 is 1964 & a Vespa is a Vespa but a Lambretta is a SCOOTER

  • @ackee123

Move to colchester, essex, UK. Once a month theirs a retro night at Roberts Bar with a well known rally DJ. It's like being at a rally every month, everyone dressed either mod or skin. Have regular mod/ska bands too.

  • I love Manny

  • Bahoo! Great times, what's gone wrong?!

  • Happiness would be hire A small club twice a month, couple of DJ's plenty of classics and 60s Speed Blues, some Ska, plenty of good revival floor fillers. Live bands...some old, some new. Mod All Nighters. I NEED THIS. I'm 40 and there are Millions Like Us. Give me something to look forward to.

'Lil Red' you're organised...you're a DJ... not to mention a 'Face'.

Make it happen for me and the rest of us.

  • Superb! Still got my copy of 'Beat That' on vinyl, Frustration, My Life's a Jigsaw' and of course 'Millions Like Us' on 7 inch. When they split, they formed a band called 'The Rage'. About 82 to 84 there used to be a Mod AllDayer on a Saturday in Manchester. First at a club called 'Cloud Nine' then moved to 'Pips'. Saw 'The Rage' play there. Right at the front wizzin my tits off, 2 young to get ale, tryin very hard 2 be cool, F.P shirt and jumper, shades, drippin sweat playing imaginary maracas.

  • the chorus is pretty ripped off by a 60's tune calles "Little One" by the Washington DC's.

    ace tune by the way!

  • Definitely under-appreciated band.

  • There's another version that's even better than this on one of those Mod compilations, it's got a brillant slow build up at the start and there's a bit in the middle with the guitarist (Gary Sparke)? playing an extended solo bit where h'es playing power chords. It's similar to this but I think it's a studio recording rather than live but it's still got a rawness about it.
