You can find out more about the sanshin here:
http://simplesanshin.com
This is a simple run over the notes of the sanshin and what the relations are in western notation. A chart of where these notes are can be found on my site, but if you want to know exactly where they're located, then I suggest using an electric tuner or your ear to mark the points.
(Sorry about the quality. I was using my crappy built-in webcam.)
Oh so you're the Simple Sanshin website guy. Cool. I registered and just waiting for approval. I am very intrigued by this instrument, and really like the sound. I'm a banjo picker who happens to enjoy sanshin. If I can get enough instruction in the form of books, maybe DVDs, along with your website, I might get me one someday.

hey whatsup - i appreciate the vid - i was wondering though if you knew the lyrics to wararizou. i am kanji illiterate and cannot find even the hiragana or romaji lyrics anywhere. may be too much to ask to, but do you know the kankunshi for sanshin no hana or ojimannobiiru?

Ooh nice. Im a mountain dulcimer player which is a western appalachian 3string instrument similar to a GuQin. I gotta say this sanshin and samishen interests me greatly since its tunings seem very similar to tunings and theory im versed in already. Im thinking about taking it up. Any suggestions where to buy one at a good rate online?
