Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara (MAMEHub 0.7)

After years of trying to complete this game with kaillera, MAMEHub finally worked for us to see that it eventually happened.

While PETE couldn't join us as we save the land from the evil clutches of zso - we were able to play the game with minimal lag (which might've been on my end, not sure - wasn't hosting). Without having to configure or port forward, we were able to get in game right away. At the beginning of the video, we forgot to switch the cabinet so that there were 3 chutes/players, so that's why we reset a few minutes into the video. We we able to play for an hour and 10 minutes without any dropouts from anyone, although sometimes it lagged a bit.

MAMEHub is definitely one of the better multiplayer front ends for MAME/MESS that I've ever used. There are a few things I'd like to see, though - like replay recording (for lagless playback so I can record with a better video recorder instead of recording while playing live in webm), and maybe private rooms (I can make the game not list publicly but I have no idea how people can join). Otherwise, it's a very solid way to play MAME/MESS games online. It deserves some attention, in my opinion, so please go to http://mamehub.info/ and tell all your friends to check it out.
