A VERY, VERY, VERY RARE Sweet Insirations CD! Song is "Love Is On The Way". This is the same group that sang back up for Elvis.

  • Wasn't Cissy Houston in this group???

  • Yes, she left the group in 1969 before they really took off. This was the last album for High Inergy. And at this time whey where the opening act of the BeeGees.

  • OOPS I ment the last album for Sweet Inspirations NOT High Inrgy.

  • Wow,they were so sexy looking & still are along with the most beautiful God given voices to ever grace planet earth.

  • Sylvia was the lead singer. It should be mentioned that the credit for the sound belongs to Cissy Houston. She is the one who worked with Sylvia, Myrna, and Estelle and gave them the sound. She was also smart enough to know when the ride was ending.

  • WOW, this track is completely amazing! Never heared it before! Many many thanks for this awesome upload, dude!

  • @Covellos1 . . . just added it to my faves.

  • I did'nt know this was on cd!! I love the Sweet Inspirations...where can I find this to buy plz

  • I had this LP. Too bad this wasn't a hit by itself. I remember playing this song for my late friend Patty (we used to have "record sessions"). She was like "WHO is this? This is really nice!!" Thanks so much for posting it! This song just flows. One of the best with or without Cissy (who I LOVE).

  • Is this legit CD reissue or boot? All other albums of them have been put on CD but not this one as long as I know. Originally it was from BeeGees' RSO and got some great songs like "Face to Face" even though only two of them are original members, Silvia and Myrna.

  • barbiefan is 100% right. Cissy Houston left the group in 1969 to pursue her career as a solo artist. Listen to the Sweet Inspirations (with Cissy Houston) as back-up singers on many of Aretha Franklin's recordings on Atlantic Records and behind Dusty Springfield on "Son of a Preacher Man". Awesome!
