In Genesis 1:27 you are correct that all people are made in the image of God. However, all people are not the sons of God. The children/sons of God are those people who through beleiving faith that Christ Jesus is the Savior of the world are the children of God. " But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 (KJV)" and "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26 (KJV)."

How is God not in everyone when He tells us that He made in his image (Genesis 1:27), then later on Jesus tells us that we are gods (Luke 10:33-34)? And how is it that God can call anyone to His kingdom when Jesus told us that the kingdom is not a physical place? (Luke 17:20-21) How do you explain this?
