  • Dude I know what you mean, mandarin and korean sound nothing alike at all. NOTHING. Like you said its true that korea did use chinese characters a long time ago, then decided they needed their own written language. Im not korean or any type of asian in fact, but im taking mandarin, and I watch a lot of korean dramas, and listen to their artists, like DBSK, and TRAX and stuff. And I totally think korean sounds so much better than mandarin
