She claimed it didn't have an undercurrent of homophobia, it didn't, and it was blatantly obvious for all to see that it was a homophobic article. If you don't intend to offend take more care in what you write as the written word can be misinterpreted unless the intentions are made clear. But would you expect any less from the daily mail? To be the most complained about article in history shows that the public isn't willing to accept homophobia any longer. It's about time too.

I had this jaded sense of inevitability before I even started reading that my predictions of cries of "political correctness gone mad", etc. would come to fruition. As far as she is concerned, she has done nothing wrong.

Poor, poor Jan. Like most who can dish it out, she clearly can't take it. Aside from slinging innuendo at an untimely death. She managed to hurl facetious insults at the deaths of several stars in that nasty article. Rather a pathetic way to make a living. However, it also reflects poorly on all the readers who can best be characterized as lovers of vitriol provided that it is directed at others.

Great video. I note that Stephens partner complained to the PCC on something like the 19th December and then on Xmas Eve the Fail decide to publish an online article stating that his death was natural after all. All a little too late and somehow appearing underhand. I still don't get why there's not a more vocal campaign by people in the public eye to embarase the mail for its constant publishing hate, spin and lies.
