  • I see you used one of the studies I sent you.

  • @182511419139208 Yep ;-)

  • My mum and her boyfriend Richard are both psychologists who dislike lie detectors and stress tests. They're not scientific. If someone knows they are being tested for stress or being interviewed about lying, they'll almost certainly tense up and try to act a certain way that diminishes the stress and/or lying, which could actually cause stress in the process. It's a bit of a mindfuck, but yeah...

  • @CammehYaBams Lie detector and stress tests are useful with a battery of evidence, as opposed to conclusive proof. They have been shown to be very effective at getting people who lie to admit to this. See my blog "Abusing Rape" for a study conducted by the Airforce that shows this.

  • ... people need to take precautions because criminals don't care. Criminals take their chances, it's our RESPONSIBILITY to be cautious, and cut the crap with the "rape culture" brainwashing. We, females, need to own up and stop this culture of blaming some supposed enemy, that doesn't exist other than in their paranoid minds. Events like "slut walk" are just degrading for us, not "empowering", just like all bases of feminism are regressive and a symptom of the twisted society we're living in.

  • @ChaoticAlterEgo Thank you! A woman that makes sense. I thought I was the only one in this day and age. -_- Quite frankly, this whole "rape culture" bullshit of "don't tell us what to wear, teach men not to rape" is so insulting. Don't put a lock on your door, tell burglars not to steal. Supposing all men are rapists is insulting and hurtful and the real psychopaths won't listen to messages like that anyway. It also makes rape seem like a woman's issue when it's really a people issue.

  • Regardless, rape is still a good thing.

  • It's like when women scream. Oh, how many times have I leaped to the immediate aid of a screaming woman, only to discover that she was screaming about a bug or a rat. It's not that they are inherently more afraid of vermin, it's that they are *permitted* to act like juveniles when they see one. I eventually told my sister: "the very next time you scream, I'm not coming to your aid. Whatever it is. You could be fighting off a housebreaker." I wasn't being serious, but she took it mighty serious.

  • They can lie about anything. I have heard them boast that they are better liars than men! And turning on the tears is the major weapon in their arsenal. Boys at a certain age are discouraged by parents, society, from crying ("Big boys don't cry",etc) but girls are never discouraged from crying at any age (which is why you will see them crying at the drop of a hat anywhere); so just as a lying child can turn on the tears at will and be convincing, so can a grown woman; remember that.

  • @RockingMrE Oh, okay

  • I once raped my hand. I didn't want to do it, but my hand kept coming on to me until I gave in. I feel so dirty now.

  • If people really want to prevent rape, someone should protest these parties with male and female participants drinking to dangerous levels. This is routine behavior on many college campuses and often leads to rape accusations. These slut-walk people are absolute fools.
