  • Man, the unbelievable arrogance... How can anyone this inept set themselves up as a "teacher"? Don't watch this garbage. Do yourself a favor and buy a decent teaching DVD. Michael Taylor's "Remembering How To Drum" is good for beginners. If you are a bit more advanced, look for Mamady Keita's and Mohamed Bangoura's teaching DVDs. And for more advanced players, "Akaran Iko Iko" is very good. All these teach you how to play properly, with proper technique, and with respect for the tradition.
