I would of love to have done a sound test, but the camera audio would have been distorted, and not really accurate.

Which one should I get, The Edge or a Ludwig Black Beauty?

@AxuDrum It depends on personal preference really, The Black Beauty is all brass, as the Edge is Half Brass, and Half Wood. They do sound a little different, the Edge pricing just went up (about 25%) from a few months ago, so if you have the cash get the Edge, and if you ever want to resell it, it will be worth what you pay for it. DW and Ludwig are both phenomenal brands, but for me it was all about DW, I feel they are so much better in every way.

Got a red sparkle Edge with what I heard was a ballbearing strainer, a blue silver sparkle woody and a about a year old Stainless. Love them them all. It's hard for me to go back to anything else. Thanks for posting
