  • by the way ur wrong. The car isnt huanted my the previous owner, In the beging she nearly took that workers hand off in the factory duuhh! She was born possed.

  • @vwbeetleowner it seems you can listen, but you can't comprehend. I explained that in the BOOK it was haunted by it's previous owner.

  • if you think about it, the movie's logic makes more sense by making the car evil from the start and simply bringing doom to it's owners. In the book, its supposed to be the spirit of Lebay, but it also makes Arnie and Christine have basically a boyfriend/girlfriend love relationship..so, is Arnie having a homosexual relationship with a dead old man's spirit or what?

  • @NotNamedJones not really, lebay was in love with the car in a bizarre sort of way, and there were parts where he was possessing arnie instead of christine.

  • wasn't my fave film adaptation of a King's book but it's ok and enjoyable....prefered the book...but they do say sometimes the book is better than the film adaptation......but not always the case

  • @RobRobertTheMusicMan Actually, the 'Innocent' guy pushed arnie into the yougurt in the beginning if you watch closely

  • I agree that visual effects are very good for the year movie was made

  • @027220 That is actually very true. If the windows WEREN'T tinted then it would be obvious there's no-one inside, and one of the major twists in the story is that the car is doing so of it's own accord. Although at the end of the movie, Arnie is shown to be controlling the car when he's attempting to kill Leigh and Dennis, so that leaves us with more questions. By tinting the windows you can't be sure whether the car is occupied or not. So yeah, I have to agree with you on that one.

  • Great review!!
