The Sanctions Worked

Charles Duelfer, CIA special adviser on WMD, testified that the UN weapons sanctions "seriously limited the regime" and "decayed" their weapons programs right out of existence. Two days later, President Bush contradicts his handpicked investigator by telling the country that the sanctions "weren't working." He said it during the last Presidential Debate with Senator Kerry, yet none of the bright lights in our media bothered to ask him about it.
