One of the nasty tasks on any vacuum is cleaning the brush head, removing hair, strings and other material that wraps itself around the brush head as the vacuum does its job. Here we are showing another bit of Dyson ingenuity with their design of the easily removable POWERED brush head on their DC25 Blueprint model. In really no time at all the object of desire is completely out of the brush head and available for total cleaning and removable of what is usually a nasty set of crud. Go ahead and check your vacuum now if you are not familiar with doing so. You will be in for a shocking, unpleasant surprise. If you've long-haired girls and guys where you vacuum, the hair that is wrapped around that brush will border on disgusting. Use sharp scissors to give the brush a "haircut" which make the wrapped-around material easier to remove. Quite impressive is the ease with which Dyson engineers have provided the means to make this problem easily rectified. Can your vacuum's brush head be cleaned this easily? Not very likely, unless it's a Dyson DC25. Other Dyson models do not have quite this ease, but it's close. On the others, there is an easily removed plastic plate covering the brush head, loosened for removal by the same coin-operated twisted locks. On the other Dyson models, the brush head is connected by a drive belt to the motor shaft so it must be cleaned in place, still an easy job as compared with other makers' vacuums. Really, though, isn't this amazing?
