Chess1602, 1955. This is the "answer" to Bo Diddley's "I'm A Man". Bo is credited as co-writer on this one. This beat was used A LOT. It was "borrowed" by George Thoroughgood for "Bad To The Bone" and by AC/DC for "Whole Lotta Rosie"

  • how hard is it to find this on a 78 or 45?

  • Considering how many copies were pressed it shouldn't be as elusive as it is. It took me a while to find this copy. I wouldn't call it rare or uncommon, just elusive in fine condition. It is certainly sought after.

  • I'M A MAIIIIIN

ROCK, killer record you got there!

  • I'm glad you like it. It took me a while to find a first press that wasn't beat to hell and too expensive.
