The concept of talent can be lost in the pursuit of substance. Whether or not that be logical is up to you. The true purpose of music is self expression. The only person who demands skill and talent is the listener. Now, if you ask me; half of the people who complain about the quality of music would sound twice as bad as the artist they're insulting. So maybe put yourself in the shoes of the artist before you start attacking their bravery to put forth their heart and soul for you to listen to.

Can't think of one aspect that might make the cover better than the origin. The singer sounds bad... Over-trying voice that I can't think of a song it will suit.
