@Popeye1117: Still not sure where your criticisms are coming from. My son just did this for fun and it ended up this way; he wasn't shooting for "realistic" or "authentic," and neither of us were out to fool anybody.

But obviously the size of the resonator is only one factor in the sound: the rest of the action is about what the reed is doing, right?

if you would like to see a more realistic PVC saxophone look up "PVC SAX SONG by Sor Supasiri 1" that one is at least authentic. And notice in that video the sound is no where near as deep.

@2boredfortv Fine but watch the kids fingers Einstein and listen. The notes the kid is "playing" do not match up with the sound. Also look at the kids eyes he keeps looking off and to the left to where the actual instrument is being played so they can fake as if the kid is playing it. The instrument is not large enough to made that deep bass sound when using only 2 fingers on the top holes. that much for sure is impossible.

@Popeye1117 alright, listen and look. that pvc "sax" sounds like a bass clarinet because it has a cylindrical bore, meaning its bore is the same throught out, just like a bass clarinet. and by looking at it, its bore is probally around the same length too.

@Popeye1117 of course its fake. Everyone knows that the way to fortune and fame is to make a fake video of your child playing a Sax made out of PVC. sigh !!!!!!
