MDIS posted this info: "The song is actually an Okinawan Folk Song which is known as Minyo always depicting either sadness , loss of loved ones , loss of hope , grievances , or finding new hope. This song is actually popular in Okinawa and Japan - just as Jazz / Soul developed when the afro americans laboured hard for the white folks"

I found this so sad japanese song. Though I can't understand japanese, the opression in my chest is so real as the feeling of sorrow.

  • @RaiTheBear Thanks I will look into that anime.

  • It sounds like "deep forest", they make modern world music, even Japanese. Thumbs up for Japanese music!

  • This is the most beautiful music I ever heard. I cry everytime I hear this, it gives me the urge to move on

  • Lovely song.

    >w< What episode is this from? I don't remember seeing it.

  • @adam78180 Samurai Champloo; beautiful song and it's a good anime

  • I don't usually cry or tear up, but at 17 and after all the stress in my life, and what I think is to come, this brought a small tear to my eye. Still very beautiful. What is the anime?

  • Ikue Asazaki - Obokuri-Eeumi ♥

  • @SuperLalala50 I downloaded it from gendou, I think. You have to have an account, though.
