Personally this film was one of my favorite films of 2008.
I was so shocked to see that Jean-Claude Van Damme acted the way he did! He was amazing.
He should have gotten a nod for Best Actor.
fyi - I am NOT in any means a hardcore Van Damme film at all. So I am not just giving Van Damme the fame just because I am a fan.
Van Damme can act, plain and simple.
The monologue to me made the film to me. I love that scene with a bloody passion.
