God i HATE pilots all most of you ever do is complain and whine. There are far more other people in the airports that have way more problems to deal with everyday! And $700.00 WOULDN'T BE THEIR DAILY PAY! That wouldn't even be a paycheck for 2 WEEKS of work. The american pilot does have it pretty good, but they just want more. ALWAYS WANTING MORE!

Well "those guys" are a dieing breed. The airlines have done a great job and beating the shit out of the pilot career, that there are no more kids who want to do this job.

@workslave Thanks for the catch. Blame it on pilot fatigue. Even with two pilots we occasionally land without a landing clearance. ($140 x 5hrs = 700 +$26 lunch money = $726 - $14 for union dues = $712 ) divide by 13 hours at work = $55/hr Lunch money (per diem) is paid for 24 hours if you are on an overnight. Regional FO's and FA's may want to avoid doing these calculations. Wisdom in twinpratts advice as well.
